Gaining deeper insight into relationship systems
Overcoming relationship challenges involves embracing differences, moving beyond our perspectives, and fostering empathy. This forms the foundation of ORSC Geography: Roles and Structure, a course that deepens your understanding of key ORSC™ concepts, providing insights into relationship system roles and structures.
This course consists of two components: Lands Work and Roles. During the Lands Work portion of the course, you’ll develop a fuller awareness of the diversity and differences which people add to a system. You’ll learn to tap into the creative potential of these differences while also expanding your ability to empathize.
In the course's Roles section, we delve into how individuals associate themselves with various group roles, be it a job label such as CEO or a personal role like peacemaker. By discerning between the person and their roles, you develop insights that nurture openness within the group. Topics covered include:
- Understanding the functions of relationship structures and roles
- Recognizing the need to periodically rethink those structures
- Gaining practical tools for working with diversity issues in relationships
- Practicing those tools and techniques in personal and organizational scenarios
